Our History and Heritage:
Craigmyle Farms & Craigmyle Farm Equipment
I grew up right here on this very farm, proudly becoming the fifth generation to work this land. Growing up on a dairy farm taught me more than just how to farm — it taught me hard work, honesty, character, fairness, and the lasting rewards that come from living by those values.
My greatest blessing has always been my parents, who instilled in me strong Christian morals and faith in God. Like most stories, mine has seen both failures and successes, but through it all, I can truly say that my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has never abandoned me — even when I failed Him.
In 1991, I started Craigmyle Farm Equipment while we were still running our family dairy farm, milking around 125 head. My dad, F.D., and my uncle Johnny owned and farmed together. From an early age, I was fascinated by tractor pulling — something my Uncle Johnny helped pioneer when he became one of the first to put two engines on a modified tractor. Watching him sparked a lifelong passion in me, and when I was about 13, my dad and uncle made my dream come true by building me my own pulling tractor — an IH 1206 we bought from a farmer in Ohio.
Like many hobbies, tractor pulling was expensive, so we began buying and selling a few tractors to help fund it. That’s where my passion for the equipment business truly began.
Fast forward to today — I’m still doing what I fell in love with as a teenager. Both my dad and uncle have since passed away, but I am forever grateful for the lessons they taught me and the opportunities they gave me.
I want to thank everyone who has been part of this journey through the years. I am deeply thankful for each of you — past, present, and future. Most of all, I give all the glory to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, for blessing me through it all.
At Craigmyle Farm Equipment, we strive every day to provide our customers with the best quality products at an affordable price, and we look forward to continuing to serve you in the years to come.
God Bless You, and God Bless America.
